The department of Otorhinolaryngology emerged from one clinic room about three decades ago to a full blown department. The department is fully accredited by the West African College of Surgeons for training of ORL residents. Recently, the department became successfully accredited by the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria for training of ENT Surgeons.
